Terms of use
Last updated: August 2026
These terms apply when you use KAI, including the website, the pilot programme and the product itself.
1. The service
KAI provides an AI intelligence layer for cafés that connects to your existing systems and presents sales, waste, inventory and compliance information, together with forecasts, recommendations and an AI assistant.
The service is under active development and is provided as is during the pilot period.
2. Decision support, not professional advice
KAI is an information and decision support tool. It does not provide legal, financial, accounting, food safety or regulatory advice.
Answers, forecasts and recommendations are generated by AI from the data available in your connected systems. They can be incomplete, out of date or incorrect. Always verify important figures against your own records, and consult a qualified adviser before making decisions with legal, financial or food safety consequences.
3. Compliance responsibility
Documentation and reports generated by KAI are intended to support your own routines for hygiene, temperature control, food waste and sustainability reporting. Your café remains responsible for complying with applicable law, including Swedish and EU food safety and sustainability requirements, and for the accuracy of anything you submit to an authority or a third party.
4. Limitation of liability
KAI is not liable for direct or indirect damages, losses or costs arising from decisions made on the basis of information from the service. This includes, but is not limited to, incorrect forecasts, misstated figures, missed deadlines, spoilage or waste, lost revenue, or incorrect interpretations of data retrieved from your systems.
You are responsible for verifying information and for consulting qualified advisers before taking action. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Swedish law.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the service to run and analyse your café operation. You may not use it for unlawful purposes, to spread misleading information, to attempt to access another customer's data, or in a way that harms the service or other users.
6. Accounts and data
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the actions taken through your account.
You confirm that you are entitled to connect the systems you connect and to have the data in them processed by KAI. When you close your account, your data is deleted within 30 days as described in the privacy policy.
7. Pilot programme and pricing
The pilot is free of charge, involves no contract and can be ended by either side at any time. Any paid subscription that follows a pilot is agreed separately in writing before it begins.
8. Changes
We may change these terms. If we make material changes we will notify you by email.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute is settled by a Swedish court.
